Ferring and the surrounding area is a wonderful place to live and we really enjoy working in this lovely coastal location. Our team are local people selling local properties and are very passionate about providing our clients with a first class service that fulfils all of their property needs. Our local knowledge is a great resource for those moving into the area and we can advise you on anything from local transport links and travel times to local catchment schools and their Ofsted performance.
Angela grew up in Goring and went to Ferring Primary School as a child. She has always loved Ferring for the variety of local walks right on her doorstep; from Goring Gap, green space by the sea, to The Ilex a quirky open space lined by arches of trees from Sea Lane in Goring through to Sea Lane in Ferring. Plus, Ferring Beach itself and Highdown Gardens which showcases chalkland gardens and rare plants – all especially useful for Brian, Angela’s energetic Bichon Frise.
Andalucía Restaurant and Bar in Ferring Village is a family favourite for Angela as they offer a authentic Spanish Tapas food, The Henty Arms pub (which is dog friendly) is always welcoming and for a more relaxed day time treat; coffee and a bite to eat with her teenage daughters at Kingsley’s Café is superb.
Ferring is a charming and historic village situated to the west of Worthing Town. It lies on the South Coast and boasts a large seafront and pebble beach which is also home to the ever-popular Blue Bird Cafe. Ferring has a bustling village centre with a variety of independent shops which includes the local Post Office, a family run butchers and Delicatessen, as well as a Co-op. At the village centre sits St Andrews Church which is steeped in history being one of the oldest churches in Sussex.
Ferring is extremely accessible by road routes; it’s within a short reach of the A27 and A24, and many local bus routes including the 700 bus which travels from Littlehampton along the coast to Brighton.
Moving house for me is the worst experience in the world!! The team at Michael Jones were excellent and made the whole process as painless as possible. Even through the current global situation, endless restrictions in place, the process… More from start to finish was faultless, nothing was to much trouble for the team. I’d like to say a personal thanks to Lisa Holden, who was brilliant throughout, nothing was to much trouble for her, she even managed to bring my move in date forward when I asked at the very last minute! So thanks for everything
Michael Jones are a great company who really helped us find a fantastic place to rent. Lisa and Harry were especially very helpful at taking our phone calls and responding really quickly to questions we had. We are really pleased with our… More new place and would recommend Michael Jones to anyone.
This is not about Michael Jones but one of their employee, Rob Stewards . Shout out you man and well done for the great service . Much appreciated. Keep it up . Rob was in charge of sorting thing out between my last landlord and myself… More at the end of the tenancy and helping return my deposit . For everyone renting , you know how it is always trying to get that money back. The landlords are always trying to make up stories in order to hold a chunk of your money . I cannot thank Rob enough for his outstanding wisdom in helping us to reach an agreement and avoiding dispute resolution . Although in the middle of the case , Rob went on holiday and things were not resolved as one of his colleague or rather manager tried . And my gut feeling was surely , Rob will get it sorted after his holiday and I was right . He got a compromise in no time .Many thanks Rob . God bless you and keep up the good work .
