Lancing also has high quality schooling available with four primary/ middle schools and a local senior school academy as well as a number of other secondary schools in the surrounding area.
Lancing Beach Green is a vast public area that has direct access to the beach which hosts a number of events throughout the year and is a great spot to watch the local kite surfers. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, you can head over to Perch restaurant on Lancing Beach where you can enjoy a delicious meal or a coffee and cake whilst enjoying the magnificent panoramic sea views.
Brooklands Park is located off the seafront and is a large open space offering a range of sports and leisure facilities around an eight acre boating lake. There is a café, miniature railway, children’s playground, putting green and go-kart track offering a great day out for the family.
Lancing’s economy has just had a major boost with investment planned for an IKEA superstore which will offer great employment opportunities and also land ear marked for further new homes development together with new facilities including a school and doctors surgery to support the growing community. This, following the recent development of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club’s training facility, which already provided a high profile boost to the locality.
Lancing has so much to offer and has great access to some of the larger surrounding towns like Worthing and Brighton which are just a stone’s throw away.
