For Rich, happiness is a walk along the seafront starting out at the Littlehampton Harbour with his family on a Sunday morning, rounded off with breakfast at the Sea Lane Café where he would highly recommend the full English!
If it’s lunch with family and friends that you are after, The Lamb Inn is a traditional local pub famous for its flame grilled food served on skillets. It is a short walk from the beach where you can enjoy the family friendly beer garden in the spring and summer or you can get cosy by the roaring open fire during the colder months.
Rustington has a variety of world foods on offer including The Lemongrass which offers a superb Thai menu and La Cucina for traditional Italian food. The Spotted Cow or The Lamb in Angmering are perfect for a lazy Sunday roast.
Rich enjoys a round of golf at one of the local golf courses while the kids enjoy the soft play, bowling and clip and climb at Out of Bounds on the A259 at Angmering.
Rustington village is found on the West Sussex coast halfway between Chichester and Brighton. Running along the north of Rustington, the A259 provides links to Gatwick (M23), London (M25) and Southampton (M27).
Rustington has over 80 shops including major high street brands as well as independent retailers and there are over 400 free car parking spaces. If you want to eat out or go for a drink, there is also a good selection of restaurants and pubs in the village and the surrounding areas.
Rustington is a great example of how a very traditional village can grow into a convenient residential and shopping location, whilst still remaining a community with character – a lovely blend of old and new.
There is a good selection of local schools and transport links are good with nearby Angmering railway station plus direct links to Brighton and Portsmouth via the 700 Coastliner bus.
