James grew up and went to school in Worthing. At the age of 15 he went on work experience at a local estate agency and by the end of the week he was offered a job. Fast forward to now and James has over a decade’s experience in our industry, a level 4 qualification in Residential Lettings and is a Fellow of the Association of Residential Lettings Agents – a title that he’s extremely proud of.
Outside of work James has a love for food and travel and he particularly enjoys city breaks. Thankfully Worthing is in no short supply of restaurants that can ‘transport’ you to another country. Thai Street Food, Issa Sushi, Andalucía, The Fat Greek Taverna and Fernando are just a few of the places he recommends.
Worthing is the largest town in West Sussex nestled between an award winning beach and the glorious South Downs National Park. It is a vibrant town with lots to offer in the way of shopping, dining and entertainment whilst still retaining its classic seaside town charm. Worthing has five miles of palm tree lined promenade which has been through a period of regeneration and the superb art deco pier which offers amusements and seaside cafés to relax and enjoy the view.
The town centre offers a wide range of shops including all the favourite high street brands, department stores, boutiques and independent retailers. Once you have worked up an appetite, you can eat at one of Worthing’s many cafes and restaurants where you will find a wide selection of food from the freshest fish of the daily catch on the beach to a variety of world foods.
Worthing’s three theatres and the Dome cinema offer a wide selection of entertainment to suit everyone and the award winning Splashpoint pool complex offers lots of fun for the whole family. If it’s adrenaline that you want, there is a massive range of watersports available but if you prefer a more sedate activity, you can explore the surrounding towns and countryside on foot or by bike, whatever your ability.
