Worthing is where it all started for us in 1991 when we opened our first office on Chatsworth Road. Fast forward almost 26 years and we opened the doors to our new flagship head office in the heart of Worthing town centre on Chapel Road in January 2017 which houses our residential sales, lettings, new homes, land & development, commercial and property management teams over three floors. We consider ourselves very lucky to still be operating in a town centre that we are so passionate about and our recent move demonstrates our commitment to the Worthing community and our clients’ feedback of wanting to see all of our services under one roof.
Symonds & Reading join the Michael Jones family
We are delighted to announce that from 6th November, Symonds & Reading entire sales and lettings business have been incorporated into the broader Michael Jones and Company operation.
Joe grew up in Worthing and knows the area like the back of his hand. Joe started working for Michael Jones as a Junior Negotiator in 2007. Having seen dramatic changes in the property market over the years, Joe has gained invaluable experience and knowledge on what is needed to ensure the best outcome for every property sale. Joe has worked his way up the ladder and is now a Branch Manager of the Worthing office, overseeing the day-to-day running of the sales team. Outside of work Joe spends enjoys spending time with his young family and can often be found at Woodside Road offering his support to Worthing FC.
Worthing is the largest town in West Sussex nestled between an award winning beach and the glorious South Downs National Park. It is a vibrant town with lots to offer in the way of shopping, dining and entertainment whilst still retaining its classic seaside town charm. Worthing has five miles of palm tree lined promenade which has been through a period of regeneration and the superb art deco pier which offers amusements and seaside cafés to relax and enjoy the view.
The town centre offers a wide range of shops including all the favourite high street brands, department stores, boutiques and independent retailers. Once you have worked up an appetite, you can eat at one of Worthing’s many cafes and restaurants where you will find a wide selection of food from the freshest fish of the daily catch on the beach to a variety of world foods.
Worthing’s three theatres and the Dome cinema offer a wide selection of entertainment to suit everyone and the award winning Splashpoint pool complex offers lots of fun for the whole family. If it’s adrenaline that you want, there is a massive range of watersports available but if you prefer a more sedate activity, you can explore the surrounding towns and countryside on foot or by bike, whatever your ability.
