Commercial team secures premises for Worthing Gin in just two weeks

Our Commercial team were delighted to help Phil Duckett, owner of Worthing Gin, secure his first premises for the business with a speedy turnaround earlier this month.

Phil was looking for premises, not only as a point of sale for his local product, but as a place that could create an experience for his customers that a website alone just wouldn’t offer.

Phil said: “I created Worthing Gin as a local drink that people could enjoy. I wanted a central place where people could come and see the product for themselves and chat to me about it.”

Phil continued: “We wanted a quick turn-around, so it worked out perfectly. Dealing with Michael Jones has been a positive and very professional experience and I’d have no hesitation working with them again in the future.”

The time from first show-around to passing over the keys was just two weeks, a brilliant result for Phil and for our Commercial team, demonstrating the speed of a commercial transaction when all parties work together.

Ellis Rodda, Commercial Negotiator said: “We are extremely pleased to have facilitated the new leased premises for Phil Duckett of Worthing Gin into the Guildbourne Centre. We know that Phil’s superb connections, vision and marketing skills, coupled with his genuine passion for this fantastic tasting local gin will bring him every success.”

Phil and his wife Alison have been busy behind the scenes getting the shop ready for the launch. Worthing Gin will be opening its doors on Friday 22 November at 10am in the Guildbourne Centre in the heart of Worthing town, selling their locally made bottled gin and branded gin glasses.
