Large town centre office letting to NHS

Our Commercial team are pleased to announce one of the largest single office lettings in Worthing for the last 10 years, with the completion of Wicker House and Eagle House, totalling 21,000 sq ft.

The office letting marks one of the significant employment spaces in the town centre with over 200 jobs being allocated for the building by the NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) who are transferring staff from The Causeway.

Eagle/Wicker House, which is within 5 minutes walking distance of Worthing Hospital, will provide the NHS with better facilities, a modern building and a site of 1.2 acres with 106 car parking spaces.

 

With more offices being converted to residential accommodation under new permitted development rights, the opportunities for larger business spaces are particularly limited across Sussex and the South East. Being able to put this deal together has been particularly pleasing for Michael Jones Commercial; we were happy to work with the landlord of the building and deliver such a great result for both landlord, NHS and the wider town centre.
