Michael Jones supports Children in Need
On Friday 18th November 2016, our teams joined forces to fundraise for BBC Children in Need. We’re proud to have raised more than £900 for the charity, which improves and supports the lives of children across the UK.
On the day, teams were challenged to wear ‘onesies’ to work in exchange for a charity donation. It was another cold and drizzly day, making it the perfect excuse to stay cosy while raising cash. Tina Olliver from our Goring office treated everyone to homemade cakes, including coffee & walnut, lemon drizzle and carrot, raising an impressive £169 in bake sales alone. Throughout the day, staff also called upon members of the public to get involved and make a donation through our office collection buckets.
Mike Jones, Managing Director, encouraged staff to wear their ‘onesies’ by offering to considerably top-up the total raised. Mike said: “It was great to see so many people get into the spirit of the day and generously donate money for this inspiring cause. Children in Need is such a popular and worthwhile campaign, and we realise how important it is that businesses and individuals do what they can to support. It was great to see our teams having fun throughout the day!”
Thank you to everyone who supported by making a donation.
