Symonds & Reading join the Michael Jones family

We are delighted to announce that Symonds & Reading entire sales and lettings business has been incorporated into the broader Michael Jones and Company operation.

As of 6th November 2020, the Symonds & Reading Worthing team will move to the Michael Jones Head Office in Worthing while the Symonds & Reading Ferring team will remain in their current office led by Branch Manager Angela Brockwell and be rebranded as ‘Michael Jones & Symonds Reading’. 

This latest acquisition comes off the back of several letting acquisitions with Bacon & Co in September 2017, Curtis & Son in May 2019 and Easylet in October 2019.  

Our new acquisition joins together two great brands in the Worthing and Ferring area, making our business exceptionally strong and our sales business and service offerings unrivalled for new and existing customers.

What happens to Symonds & Reading customers? 

The main highlights:  

  • All staff are being retained in their current roles, so you will continue to work with the same people you did before, whether that was within Michael Jones or Symonds & Reading. 
  • All the existing agreements and pricing structures remain the same and will not be changing during this merger. 
  • All the services you have received in the past will continue to be offered by our combined firm. 

 

Ian Ward assures: For those who currently have their homes on the market with Symonds & Reading, we will maintain the great standards you have always received; we guarantee our Michael Jones & Symonds Reading team will continue to offer you the same effective service, excellent local knowledge and all existing agreements will be honoured. All staff are being retained in their current roles so you will continue to work with the same people you did before.

    This is not about Michael Jones but one of their employee, Rob Stewards . Shout out you man and well done for the great service . Much appreciated. Keep it up . Rob was in charge of sorting thing out between my last landlord and myself … More at the end of the tenancy and helping return my deposit . For everyone renting , you know how it is always trying to get that money back. The landlords are always trying to make up stories in order to hold a chunk of your money .
