Worthing Industrial Estate is Fully Let For The First Time in 10 Years
We are happy to report that the Michael Jones Commercial team have recently let the last remaining unit on the Hambridge Trading Estate in Worthing, bringing the occupancy to 100% for the first time in 10 years. Acting on behalf of the Landlord, AXA UK Pension Trustees Limited, the latest letting is a significant achievement for the area and something rarely seen, even in a strong market.
Offering 46,000 sq ft of industrial space over 22 units and located in the heart of Worthing’s industrial hub, Hambridge Industrial Estate plays a pivotal role in catering for the ever-rising industrial demand across the area.
In under 4 years, the Commercial team have let 34,000 sq ft to a variety of businesses, including building services provider Gratte Brothers Limited, home hardware retailers Bunces, precision machine engineers Callatech and online retailer Orelia Limited.
Most recently, the letting of Unit 12 to DBR Limited set a decade-long milestone in the making for landlord’s AXA UK Pension Trustees Limited. The improvement in achieved rental income bares optimistic signs of growth and highlights the necessity for more industrial units across Sussex.
