In celebrating our 30th anniversary, we’ve pledged to donate £10,000 across three fantastic local charities. We heartedly invite you to get involved in upcoming fundraising events and to help raise funds, whether that’s sharing posts, joining events or donating… #WatchThisSpace
AudioActive is building a music development and social innovation hub in Worthing town centre, and we’re incredibly excited to support them in their brand new venture! They’re a groundbreaking music organisation whose charitable work involves giving young people the space and support for creative expression and talent development regardless of their wealth or background.
Our donation will help towards the building of their new music production suite and equipment. They will be located at the old Dorothy Perkins store in Worthing, which will open in early 2022.
Local charity Care for Veterans is very close to the heart of our Founder and Group CEO, Mike Jones, a long-standing member of their Fundraising Board. For over 100 years, ex-servicemen and women from the RAF, Army, Royal Navy and auxiliary services with life-changing disabilities have received excellent long term nursing, rehabilitation, respite and award-winning end of life care.
We look forward to helping support the much-needed work they do in our community and caring for those who have given so much in the line of duty.
Wadars Animal Rescue is an animal welfare charity based in Ferring. Wadars rescues and rehomes around 400 cats, dogs and other companion animals every year. They work tirelessly to rehabilitate wild animal casualties and their integration back into their natural environment, plus a mobile animal rescue service, responding to distressed, injured and displaced animals in your community. Last year alone, Wadars helped more than 2,600 wild animals.
Supported by more than 150 volunteers, it costs over £1,300 every day to continue this work, and Wadars is almost totally reliant on donations, fundraising and legacies from the community. Plans for the future include a purpose-built wildlife unit, aviaries, kennels and a training and education centre – a future we’re keen to help them achieve!
Three decades on, and we remain a local, friendly high-street business and one of the largest independent estate agents in the South East – proudly serving tens of thousands of customers across West Sussex and into Hove.
“I’m keen to continue to grow to meet our client’s needs but also to preserve the company’s DNA and keep everything personal and family-run – it’s so important. Our heritage and traditions are something we’re all very proud of, and we know they’re something we will always stay true to.”
