After three decades of serving tens of thousands of customers across West Sussex, we’re proud of the positive feedback we receive almost daily.

Introducing Mr & Mrs Tupper
Mr and Mrs Tupper have bought and sold six properties with us in the last twenty-three years. Most recently, we helped them find their dream home in Findon Valley, and they kindly offered to share the experience…
In their own words.
What is your favourite thing about your new home?
“We stumbled across Findon Valley, as we didn’t originally plan on looking for a new home here. When we viewed this house initially, we dismissed it – as it was a bit of a quirky shape – but ended up coming back to it.
We love this house, as it’s big enough to allow us to have our family and friends stay over without being too big that we struggle to keep on top of the cleaning and upkeep which often comes with property.
The garden is slightly smaller. However, we don’t want a huge garden. This is much more manageable, and as Darren Belchamber from your Findon office said, we have the biggest garden in the world across the road (plus uninterrupted views of the South Downs).
We have such an amazing space. So, we now have a seafront apartment and everything we want there, as well as the beautiful countryside just outside our front door in Findon! We have fulfilled our dream without leaving Worthing. For us, it works, and we thoroughly enjoy it, it’s just amazing really.”
Why did you choose Michael Jones?
“Early on – before Rightmove, Zoopla etc. – we felt that Michael Jones were more engaging than any other estate agent. They seemed to have the most coverage in magazines and newspapers and had a big focus on their marketing.
In 1998, we had Mike [Jones] himself come along and value our property. It was always the people and relationships we built which made us want to use Michael Jones. With our most recent purchase, George Price looked after us and was understanding and calm during stressful moves. We always had a great experience with your staff.
We chose to buy with you because you always had the majority of the stock, and your team was honest when giving us advice on properties to buy or sell.”
Why have you kept coming back and using Michael Jones?
“We have bought and sold with you over six times. Whenever we decided to sell, we wouldn’t hesitate but choose to sell with you.
When we were looking to sell our property in Mansfield Close, we had George come along to value the property and asked for his advice on our plans to renovate the property. George gave us honest and constructive feedback and told us not to spend any more money renovating the property as it wouldn’t translate to profit, as we were already at the ceiling price on the road.
Should we sell in the future, we will definitely sell through you. As the property we are living in right now is at the top of the hill, we may decide to move to somewhere flatter, maybe in the town. We will cross that bridge when we get to it. However, the lady who lives next door is in her 80’s, and she is still climbing that hill. We want to be like her!”
Would you recommend us to friends and family?
We have previously helped our daughter buy a flat just around the corner from us, which she is now selling through you and is now buying a bungalow through you, so it carries on.
We are hoping for the good service to continue!”
How would you describe Michael Jones as a company?
“In one word – professional.
In more words – in terms of us as a seller and purchaser, you were very good at making us feel comfortable and keeping us informed. You were able to answer our questions informatively, or if you couldn’t, you’d go off and find the answer and then come back to us, rather than bluffing your way through.”
