Worthing attracts new business in triple commercial lettings success

Our commercial property department has worked tirelessly over the last few months, and are pleased to report the completion of three commercial lettings in Worthing which will bring three exciting new faces to the town’s high street:

Previously known as Interwok and years before that Café Central /Eden Bar, this well-known property has now been let to a fast-growing national restaurant chain, Kaspas; renowned for their delicious hot and cold desserts. The building was previously on the market with another agent for nearly 2 years but with no success. We were then instructed by the landlord and carried out 30 viewings and have been delighted to negotiate a 10-year lease. Building works are currently being carried out and the new dessert house is due to open later this year.

48 South Street, Worthing
Formerly Jones the shoe shop, 48 South Street is soon to be occupied by A Plan Insurance, one of the UK’s leading insurance advisors with 80 branches across the country. Our commercial team worked with the landlord to ensure the best level of rent was achieved out of the property by splitting the property up. An attractive rent of £55,000 per annum was achieved on a new 10-year lease.

14 Chapel Road, Worthing
This property has been let to one of Europe’s leading provider of ‘Electric Muscle Stimulation’ (EMS) training. Originated in Germany, Bodystreet is a new health and training concept which provides a quick and simple form of exercise. Building works will commence shortly with the gym due to open soon.
